The Vision of The School at Christ Church is to provide children with a meaningful learning experience, quality education and spiritual formation within a Christian environment.
We are a Christian school, developmental in our approach to early childhood education. We seek to create a loving environment where children are nurtured, encouraged, and challenged to learn, grow, and explore their world.
Our program is designed to be a building block from one year to the next in both skill development and academics. Students are evaluated mid-year on their progress in developmental areas. Parent conferences are held before classes begin and year end conferences are available upon request. The four year-old program concentrates on pre-kindergarten readiness skills and much more, such as regular computer lab time and an introduction to basic Spanish.
The School's Christian emphasis is based on traditional Christian values, and provides the opportunity to grow closer to God through regular prayer time and Bible stories from both the New and Old Testaments. At Christmas and Easter, our students hear the Christian stories about these events. In addition, monthly time in the Chapel at Christ Church includes singing songs, circle prayers, and memorization of simple Bible verses.
